Felisha has 15+ years of senior care experience in both skilled facilities and in-home care agencies. Matching the right caregiver with the client and reliability are two of our hallmarks. Felisha ensures the right caregivers are at the right client 100% of the time.
Jan Swarts, RN
Assistant Administrator and
Director of Nursing
Jan has over 40 years of nursing and clinical experience and joined Benefits of Home in 2012. Jan has spent her entire career positively impacting seniors’ health and helping 25+ clients manage their medications.
Kent and Karen Westervelt
Owners
Kent and Karen Westervelt share a heartfelt passion for helping seniors live safely, comfortably, and independently. They are deeply committed to supporting not only the individuals in their care but also the families and caregivers who love them—offering education, respite, and peace of mind every step of the way.
As certified Community Educators for the Alzheimer’s Association, Kent and Karen bring extensive expertise in dementia care. Karen draws on more than 20 years as a preschool teacher, where her nurturing approach naturally transitioned into her work supporting seniors and their families through the challenges of dementia.
Kent brings over 35 years of leadership experience across the healthcare and healthcare IT industries, combining compassion with operational excellence to ensure the highest quality of care. Together, Kent and Karen are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and those who care for them.
